Here are the REUNION PLANS!

So, the reunion committee has been working VERY hard to get this thing planned. And it's going really well. As it stands, we are planning a mixer on Friday, June 12th at BB King's on Beale Street. There will be light hors d'oeuvres and discounted drinks (we'll get a wristband) and lots of fun. On Saturday afternoon, we'll have a picnic on the grounds of the school with moonbounces for the kids, tours of the school, some of the faculty from when we were there, and yummy lunch. Saturday evening, we're having a dinner at The Center for Southern Folklore downtown. We'll have a DJ for this event - so wear your dancin' shoes!

We will be accepting payment (we'll let you know asap what that is going to be, but we are working very hard to make sure this entire thing affordable because we really want NO ONE to miss this for financial reasons!!!) by credit card through PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account already, it's really easy and safe to set up. We'll also be happy to take a check, though for bookkeeping reasons, a credit card is better!

We are still missing information on about 200 of our classmates. If you haven't already done so, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE drop us an e-mail at wshs89@gmail.com with your snail mail address and name. We really don't want to miss out on seeing you in June. Also, if you stay in touch with anyone from our class, please send that information along as well!

Finally, we have set up a Facebook group through which much of our ongoing communication is happening. Please take a minute and join up (Facebook is actually pretty fascinating!).

It's Reunion Planning Time!

Greetings All You 89 Spartans!

It's time to start planning our TWENTIETH REUNION!!!! Several of your fellow classmates met on July 27th to kick off the planning process for what is definitely going to be a GREAT reunion.

We scheduled a date for next spring - June 12-14, 2009 - and have also begun to plan events and collect contact information on everyone. Please complete the survey at the right, and e-mail your answers to wshs89@gmail.com.
